Phil changes from glass to mug

For his dinner milk.

Puzzled until …

Washing up, his cup

Is home to uneaten peas.

Punished once,

Solution found.

Unless ruse is discovered.*

Note:

* This is one of the big differences between fathers and mothers, Phil’s trick went undetected (well, I can’t recall it being discovered) … had Mum been there it would have been known immediately.
